PALs - Physical Activity Leaders

As we were heading back to class from Basketball, Ryan and Caleb, 2 PALs invited us to join them for a game of Egg Ball.  Basically it is a game of soccer but with a rugby ball.  It was highly entertaining and I'm sure Mrs Jackson will let us play it again!

Basketball

Today Reece put us into teams so we could play basketball.  We have a lot of talented      basketballers in our class.  Now we have to choose the best 8 ready to challenge Rm 4 next week.

Michael Mangan visits

Michael Mangan, an Australian composer whose religious songs we sing, visited us today.  Michael was very impressed with our involvement and enthusiasm.  Mrs Neilson was too.  We look forward to getting the new songs to sing in class and at Mass.

Images of God

Who is God?  There are many names and images of God.  While God can not be summed up as a mountain, an eagle or water, these images give us an insight to the qualities that God shows us.

Rugby

Our PE focus is currently rugby skills.

We have been practising how to pass the rugby ball and trying to get it to spin.

Our kicking skills are being worked on as well.

Wheels Day

Last Friday we had Wheels Day.  We were allowed to bring our scooters, skateboards and ripsticks.  Some of us used the school unicycles.  Mrs Jackson took us out on the courts without Rms 4 and 6 so we had plenty of space.

Captain Lancaster

Captain Lancaster is one very strict teacher so don't try nonsense because he won't take it.  On the other hand his clothes are always clean and rich.  His squid ward nose hangs over his nicely combed black moustache.  He wears an old fashioned bow tie.
