Singing
Many of our class love singing and a group of girls were more than willing to help Mrs Ramsey out by learning some songs to sing to a group at St Peter Chanel church tomorrow. We were their practise audience today. We were impressed with how nice they sounded and that we could understand the words. Mrs Jackson challenged them to look at their audience more and not at their words.
Folk Dancing
Tomorrow evening the Junior school have their folk dancing evening. We were entertained by their dancing this morning.

A visit from Megan's uncle
Megan's uncle works at the Hawkes Bay Airport in Napier. He is part of the ground staff that are responsible for loading the planes correctly so that they can fly. We learnt that the plane weighs around 19 tonne when fuelled up and loaded with luggage. HB Airport has up to 27 flights that depart daily.
Lily's ICAS Writing.

She got distinction for writing a very persuading argument for running for class president.
All over the world kids over year 4 can compete in this test.
